In improving access to care while preserving the continuity of care, iWILL ‘til i’mWELL will use a variety of counseling techniques to bring to you short-term teletherapy treatment via phone or video conferencing. Teletherapy works to remove barriers to getting the counseling help you may need.
Some of these barriers are:
- No mental health providers within your city, town, community
- Mobility restrictions.
- Unable to travel.
- Childcare challenges.
- Transportation difficulties.
- Illness.
When in search of help and support with any mental, financial, physical, and emotional well-being concerns, whether you are trying to manage stress at work or home, parenting and child care, managing money, or health issues, you can confidentially speak with a clinical care counselor at any time of the day, 365 days a year.
A clinical care counselor will offer you intermediary help in solving any situation or mental health crisis you may be experiencing at the moment.
- Talk about your concerns.
- Process your thoughts.
Also, as a member of iWILL ‘til i’mWELL, you can ask to assign to a single counselor who will work with you for up to 5 counseling sessions PER ISSUE per year via phone or videoconferencing.
This counselor will be assigned to you according to the state in which you have established residence.
Should you travel to another state, no worries. You can work with the clinical care counselors until you return to your established residence.
